On the way To Rifugio Carestiato

What to do on a tranquil Tuesday Morning ?  A nice ski trek on the "Moiazza" starting right at "passo Duran" at the Rifugio "San Sebastiano". 

The Goal was to get to Rifugio "Carestiato", enjoying the SUn, the nearly "spring-like" temperatures and at the same time give the Drone a Spin on this amazingly beautiful and a little less known piece of the Dolomites.

The ski trek is not for the "Savvy" and experienced skier that might get a little taken aback by the constant ups and downs of the path, but for a morning or afternoon stroll in the forset and to sink into the environment and eventually sink down a couple of "grappe" at the "Rifugio Carestiato", IT's the perfect Blend which will leave your eyes and spirit in a blissful state. (apart for the swearing due to the weight of the equipment...)

We were told some chamois were roaming in the area but unfortunately we did not encouter them, they are usually best seen during mating season (november or so). On the other hand We got an eyeful of a beautiful sunset looking over the valley.
