Tre Cime Freeride
Surely weather forecasts aren't always so accurate, and last Sunday we had solid proof of that. We went to Misurina for the "Tre Cime Freeride" competition, where from the start of the day a cold wind and low visibility greeted us. We decided to ski uphill to the top of the face that the athlets had to ride and to take some shots from the starting line. The bad weather forced the organizers to wait for the right moment to start the race, due to the poor visibility. But after some minutes the competition started and the athlets had the chance to perform on big cliffs and turns, under the careful eye of the jury. Snow, freeride and a great challenge. Definitly a day to remember, not only for the frozen fingers!!
