There is no denying it, since I stopped working in nightclubs covering almost all the existing roles in that area during my twenty-year career, my weekends have become quite boring and somewhat institutional. I certainly don't go to bed early like David "Noodles" Aaronson (De Niro in Once Upon a Time in America), but my opportunities to meet people "outside the box" have gradually diminished.

Not often, I think of Eastern Europe as a “font of inspiration”, something to give me a sense of freedom and liberty. Actually quite the opposite...
Marco Preti (Coral Climb Productions) asked me if I would be interested in participating in a new project of his, for RAI 3 (Geo). You think one could ever say No … to that? This was the time for Croatia... in a month, the whole lot!

And finally the day is nearly here. Soldato Semplice, Directed, produced and starring "Paolo Cevoli" and Distributed by "KOCH Media" has officially been announced at a number of press conferences across Italy. After Rome it was the turn of Milan where we assisted at the Press Release with Journalists from a variety of major newspapers.

On a pretty quiet day last spring I got a call from Marco Preti (Director of the second Unit with CORAL CLIMB) asking me if I would be interested in joining a troupe for the shooting of a new movie. After a few moments attempting to realize if it was a joke I gladly accepted as Mountains, Glaciers, and Mediterranean Sea were part of an offer we simply could not refuse...
