One more shot in San Francisco Bay while making my way to Smith Rock with Manrico Dell'Agnola in 2011.

Here is one of the many shots of the iconic Bridge in San Francisco, The Golden Gate. Every time it gets me, perhaps also because, in my mind, it's a symbol of freedom and at the same time it sorts of marks the beginning and often the end of a Journey to the US. 

This morning I was browsing through some shots taken a few years back. This is 2011 and with Manrico Dell'Agnola we are approaching Oregon to visit "Smith Rock".  The park was obtained between 1960 and 1975 by purchase and gifts of land from the city of Redmond and Harry and Diane Kem and it's home to some beautiful climbing. I'll post a few shots in the next Week.
