What a night at Improve in Castelfranco Veneto !! Two energy filled bands entertained for a few hours all the guests of "Improve Sala Prove" last saturday. The evening started kind of slow but as people began to arrive a true explosion of sound started, ranging from rock to punk. A light filled rock punk trip .. and thanks to the,kind of psychedelic, lights so to speak.

And so Improve became alive once again last Saturday night. JULINKO and AZA where the Star of the evening with an incredibly magical atmosphere made of "Dark Ambient", "Indie Folk", "Dream Doom", "Psych", "ambient drone" and "dark folk". This time Improve wanted to put these two amazing artists together as a sort of Fusion to double down on the "energy release". A sort of Ritual with two deep and hypnotic voices coming from a musical "multiverse". .

What can one possibly say after spending a few hours with some amazing artists at the Tipoteca in Cornuda (Treviso) ... nothing but GOOD things. Tipoteca is a Museum, Archive, Library, gallery, auditorium and much more. I would reccommend and encourage everyone to visit to this amazing place. Tipoteca’s archive houses iron hand-presses, cylinder and platen presses, printing and casting equipment. Despite the incredible value of this large collection of machines, their plus is the thousands of typefaces, matrices and punches in the archive. The place inspires scholars and enthusiasts who want to discover type design history by holding it in their hands, or to see their project printed with vintage typefaces..

Last week I had the great pleasure of re-meeting Don Luigi Ciotti (founder of the "Abele" and "Libera" groups) together with Don Luigi Tellatin, his great friend and "battlemate" for the past 27 years. A "warrior" duo that in the last two years (a bit like everyone ...) has had to make some sacrifices and in their case that of the annual meeting in Facca (Cittadella) for the Easter vigil where Ciotti usually participates with a homily . A vigil that, as always, tries to propose themes and ideas for thought centered on the horizons of Justice as underlined by Don Tellatin. This year, on the occasion of these 27 years of collaborations, fortunately the long-awaited meeting was able to be repeated and as usual, we later went to the "Taverna degli Artisti" of Betty and Roger in the center of Cittadella to make two chat and celebrate the moment.

There is no denying it, since I stopped working in nightclubs covering almost all the existing roles in that area during my twenty-year career, my weekends have become quite boring and somewhat institutional. I certainly don't go to bed early like David "Noodles" Aaronson (De Niro in Once Upon a Time in America), but my opportunities to meet people "outside the box" have gradually diminished.
